Since, the mid-1970s, visitors have enjoyed The Shops at Fabian House in historic Old Town Bowie, Maryland. We are located in a large lovely building which originally served as the Joffe Family General Store and residence from the late 1800's through mid 1900's.
Our collection includes fine antiques, unique and eclectic home furnishings, the area's largest collection of traditional Polish Pottery, a full room of items for your garden space, vintage architectural salvage pieces, quality items for baby, and an ever-changing array of fun gifts. Shop managers Bob and Ruth are committed to a relentless search for intriguing home accessories - Everything is not new and everything is not old - Great mix of items. We want your every visit to be a delightful experience!
Located in what was the kitchen of the Joffe family residence, The Fabian House Cafe serves a variety of healthy, tasty, meals and snacks, as well as delicious Green Mountain Coffee. We are proud to be Bowie's first and only ALL VEGETARIAN CAFE! Stop in for a quick snack or full meals of soup, salad, sandwich, and dessert.
